Yes, you can keep and use your original domain name. In fact, we always recommend our clients hold their domain names in an account they own and manage. In addition, we recommend that you renew your domain name for the maximum number of years allowed, typically 10 years.

If you decide to cancel your Webmates subscription, you will keep your website along with all of the content we have created for it. This includes HTML files, images, CSS, Javascript, and more. The hosting environment and back-end system that runs your website is not included.

Your Webmates subscription does not include requests requiring specialized software or expertise, such as graphic design or video editing.

When signing up for a Webmates website the process looks like this..

2. Fill out our onboarding form which will collect the necessary information about you and your business

3. Upload your logo (if you don't have one that's fine too, we can help with branding)

4. Choose a website style you like from a list of example sites (this will help us determine how your website should look)

5. Sit back and relax while we build your website

6. Once your site is ready we'll send it to you to review and setup your custom domain and any integrations

7. Before launch we put the site through a rigorous testing process to ensure everything is working properly

8. We publish your site live!

Once your site is live you can text or email any update requests you have. You'll also receive a monthly traffic report to let you know how your website is performing.
